In 2005 Hemingway's was voted as the number four restaurant in Sarasota. In the past year we have added a balcony dining area overseeing St. Armand's Circle. Also, we are proud to display many beautiful paintings from the Maui Art Gallery in the dining room to add to our relaxing "beach life" theme.
 We are now featuring our great new lunch and dinner menus. Our Shrimp & Avocado-Mango Salad and Lido specialty salads offer a cool, crisp change of style for people wanting a lighter lunch. Hemingway's Famous Chowder or one of our creative daily soups compliment the specialty salads to make for a delightful meal. Many unique sandwiches like our Big Kahuna Chicken Sandwich or our Cajun Shrimp Po Boy make for a difficult choice. For dinner we have many tantalizing seafood, beef, pasta and poultry dishes that contain something for everyone. The Lahvosh, Tuna Martini, and Tenderloin Teasers highlight our amazing selection of world sample appetizers. The Seafood Bouillabaise, Pan-fried Whole Yellowtail Snapper, and Pork Roullade are just a couple of our customer favorites, or just take Ernie's word for it and try the filet or grouper "Oscar style". Everyday, with the exception of holidays, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. we feature an Early Bird menu. In addition to the Early Bird menu we also offer discounted selected drinks and hors de oeuvres at the bar between 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for Happy Hour. Try our signature Rum Runner made with all the freshest juices or one of our recently added cocktails on our sensational drink list including the Pama-Ade and Asian Pear Martini. But, whatever you do, don't forget to finish your experience off with one of our exquisite coffee drinks and delectable desserts.
